Abstract

Design of the ball and plate balancing system is still a lot of learning materials by the different of controller and mechanic material. this system works in a comprehensive and integrated betwen controller, sensors, actuators and mechanical. The setting of magnitude momentum on the type of ball used in this research is one of the important parts because the ball has to adjust to the specifications of LCD screen in order to read on screen sensor. In addition, analog to digital data conversion need a switch as the sender and the stopper digital data that has sent to processed on the Arduino. Because of that, we have developed a shield electronics by using IC CD4066. It easily find in the market, but have a high stability and accuracy, so that we made an integrated printed circuit board (PCB). The parameters to get the best performance control system can be obtained by changing each of the values of Kp, Ki, and Kd using the tuning method until get the optimum results.
