Abstract

The development of technology and information systems in the financial sector always gives birth to variousinnovations,especially those related to technology to meet variouscommunity needs, including access to services and transaction processing. In 2017 the development of technology in the financial sector that became a trend was Financial Technology or (fintech). Islamic banking as a sharia-based financial institution which must be able to adapt to various market conditions that are always developing to date One of the developments can be seen from the innovation in terms of ease of transaction services, namely the use of Fintech. The use of fintech in banking affects many sectors, one of which is profitability. Research This study aims to determine whether the influence of Financial Technology on the profitability of Indonesian Islamic commercial banks.The method used in the writing of this final project is a quantitativemethod with the population used, namely Indonesian Islamic commercial banks registered with the OJK during the 2017-2020 period with a total of 12 banks. This research uses the purpose sampling method with statistical tests using the EViews10 program. The analyticaltechnique used in this study uses multiple linear regression. This study shows that financial technology has a convincing effect on profitability.
