Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the influence of independent variables of current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), total asset turnover (TATO), return on equity (ROE), dividend payout ratio (DER), Inflation (INF) and BI rate (BIR) towards independent variable of price earnings ratio (PER) and to analyze which among the independent variables that most influence on PER. The research using data of emitten listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during the period of 2010 – 2012 and was analysed by using multiple linear regression in the form of panel data. The results showed that there is a simultaneous effect of independent variables on the dependent variable of PER. in partial, independent variables of ROA and DER have a significant effect on the dependent variable of PER, whereas variables of DPR, CR, TATO and BIR do not have a significant effect on the PER. The most dominant variable affecting the PER is ROE. Independent variables made in regression models could explain the variation in the variable of PER by 89%, while the rest is explained by other variables which is not included in this regression model.
