Abstract

This research aims to identify and issues mapping about drafting broadcasting regulation in media industry in Indonesia. The field study try to confirmed about the issues among stakeholders such as media professional, lecturer or teacher, audiens and member Board of Commissioners LPP TVRI as regulator. The study used indepth interview method with purposive sampling as informan to representatie stakeholders in media industry. The result of this study focus more on five issues in the draft of broadcasting regulation, restictions on ownership, cencorship, Network Broadcasting System (SSJ), KPI authority, local content has various responses, especially related to local content, censorship, and KPI authority. Meanwhile, the limitation of ownership and Network System Broadcasting (SJJ) has agreed to be carried out by the broadcasting industry or media owners.
