Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact of flooding in the Central Jakarta area, one of which is in the Bendungan Hilir (Benhil). However, the lack of preparedness for floods is still very lacking, especially the provision of education to children from an early age. Because children have the right to get information in certain situations, they need to be protected for the sake of their safety and prosperity. The purpose of this study was to describe how the flood disaster responds to PAUD institutions in Benhil Village and how the role of the relevant Office in providing information on disaster response for participants is held in the Benhil Village PAUD Institution. The study used a descriptive program with a qualitative approach. Data sending techniques used in this study, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique carried out in this study is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the study, it is known that each PAUD Institution has an important role in the dissemination of the flood. The teacher has a role as a facilitator, motivator, and inspirator in the flood emergency learning process in PAUD institutions. The role of the Related Office in providing education about flood response to the Benhil Village PAUD Institution has been carried out by coordinating with the social service known as Tagana (Taruna Tanggap Bencana) and KSB (Kampung Siaga Bencana).
