Abstract
The high incidence of dengue fever has made Indonesia an endemic area for the disease. Some of the factors that caused this were environmental, weather, climate, and human factors. The lack of Mosquito Nest Cleaning (PSN) practices in the community had led to an increase in dengue fever. The low level of sanitation and environmental hygiene in RT 06 RW 03 Rangkapan Jaya Baru, Depok resulted in residents affected by dengue fever. A total of 2 residents had to undergo intensive care in the hospital due to dengue fever in 1 month. The incident prompted RT administrators to carry out several preventive measures so that no more residents were affected by dengue fever. The efforts involved 10 dasa wisma. Dasa wisma carried out activities including socialization of the mosquito nest cleaning movement (PSN) and mosquito larvae monitoring. The results of the activities were that residents played an active role during the PSN socialization both during discussions and practices in the environment, no mosquito larvae were found in the water reservoirs of residents' homes, and there were gutters that did not flow. The achievements of socialization and monitoring evaluation resulted in the need for residents consistency to carry out PSN in their respective environments. Assistance is carried out by RT administrators to visit residents' homes and reminding residents to always carry out PSN periodically.
