Abstract

This research discusses about controlling parameter of a DC servomotor which is usually used to run universal testing machine. For this, the study was done to optimize proportional and integral parameters by using simulation conducted with matlab and Ziegler nichols method. The result of tuning process during simulation will be used as guideline for direct experiment in the universal testing.
