Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country that experiences problems of poverty and unemployment. Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) are the driving force of the economy in Indonesia. UMKM not only provide profits for business owners but also open up job opportunities for the community. UMKM provides space for improving the community's economy, one of which is done through entrepreneurship. Fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the younger generation is crucial considering the high unemployment and job seeker rates and supporting the government's program that proclaims 1000 jobs for the workforce in the productive age period. This research seeks to fill the gaps in previous studies by discussing the intrapersonal communication of young entrepreneurs, especially digital-based entrepreneurs who utilize digital transformation to support their businesses. The urgency of the research is to look at attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control within a person who intends to undertake entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial intention is a process of searching for information to achieve business goals. The greater a person's entrepreneurial intention, the greater the possibility of achieving his business goals. This study aims to analyze the level of entrepreneurial intention using Ajzen's Behavioral Theory which consists of attitudes toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control influencing intentions. The focus of the research is to analyze the influence of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control on entrepreneurial intentions for young entrepreneurs.
