Abstract

Self-actualization is one of the basic human needs to become someone he wants according to his potential and abilities. Unfortunately, women described as passive, gentle, and emotional make women grow into characters with feelings of fear and dependence on others. This tendency is then known as the Cinderella complex. This study aims to determine how the cinderella complex affects self-actualization in early adult working women in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) area. This study uses quantitative methods, with probability sampling using simple random sampling. Analysis of the data in this study uses multiple regression analysis, which is used to determine how much influence the independent variables have on the dependent variable. The results that can be concluded in this study are that there is a significant adverse effect between Cinderella Complex on Self-Actualization in the early adult working women in the SCBD area. The effect of Cinderella Complex is 76.7% on Self-Actualization. The aspect of the Cinderella complex that most influences self-actualization in this study is expecting direction from others, with a contribution of 36.3%. Meanwhile, the aspect that does not have a significant effect on self-actualization is the fear of losing one's femininity, with a significance level of 0.119 > 0.05.
