Abstract

Group cohesion has an important role for the student group in the work of group tasks because group cohesion is an individual attraction to a group that motivates individuals to survive each other and feel happy to be in the group because of positive energies such as a sense of togetherness, one goal, and good cooperation so that group members stay in the group for a long period of time. However, in a group there is a tendency to reduce individual performance during collaboration within the group compared to when the individual is self-employed, this behavior is called social loafing. One of the factors of social loafing is the decrease in group cohesion. The purpose of this study is to find out if Group Cohesion has an influence on Social Laziness in students of the Class of 2020 Psychology Study Program at Al-Azhar University Indonesia during school from home. The data was collected through questionnaire sharing, and involved 68 active students of psychology study program Class 2020 at Al-Azhar University Indonesia using saturated samples. This study used the Likert and Level scales to measure the overall variables. Analyze the data to test the hypothesis in this study using a simple regression test. The results showed a significant influence of the group's cohesiveness variable on social laziness with a value contribution of 68.1%.
